Record-setter: Stuart is a two-time gold medalist at the World Eskimo Indian Olympics for the one-foot high kick. Before that, he tied the record for the sport as a Native Youth Olympics athlete.
In his blood: Stuart’s dad was an Arctic Winter Games record-holder for the one-foot high kick. “I’m continuing the tradition. The Native Games help me identify with my culture.”
Highflier: Born and raised in Unalakleet, now a Health and Physical Education major at UAA, Stuart wants to be a P.E. teacher and one day coach for the NYO Games.
