Our teams have restored wireless calling and texting across all impacted communities, including Akutan, Chignik Bay, False Pass, King Cove, Perryville, and Unalaska. Wireless data remains limited as we manage network capacity on backup satellite systems. Internet service continues to be impacted. We’re working to restore basic connectivity using additional satellite capacity in all affected communities, including Chignik Lake, Chignik Lagoon, and Sand Point. Our teams have confirmed a subsea fiber issue between Chignik Bay and Larsen Bay and are working to pinpoint the exact location and plan repairs.
