Claire and Emma Laukitis

Alaska Born and Raised: The sisters, born 13 months apart, grew up near False Pass on the Stonewall Place homestead - the last house on the Alaska Peninsula.

Tidal pull: Claire, Emma and their family have been fishing the Aleutians and the Bering Sea - long lining, seining and drifting - their whole lives. Biggest catch? A 500 lb. halibut caught near Akutan.

Salmon Sisters: "We started Salmon Sisters clothing to celebrate the ocean, the sea creatures we catch while fishing with our family, and the hardworking people who make up Alaska's coastal communities."

Whether you were born and raised in Alaska or just have the Alaska born and raised spirit, we want to hear from you.
