Alaska Entrepreneurs John Idano and Vasco Vea
In 2013, John Idano and Vasco Vea geared up to show the world a different side of Alaska. They started The 49th Supply Co. – a brand of streetwear inspired by a mix of Alaska’s unique subcultures – skateboarding, outdoors, and local artists – as well as 90s era Hip Hop. Through the years they’ve created everything from cut and sew pieces and graphic tees to hoodies and jackets, all with their unique Alaska flavor. Today, The 49th Supply Co. has a large following, with people wearing their gear and repping AK all over the world.
The 49th Supply Co. Says: “There’s nothing more important than where you come from. Do you rep the state who built you? The streets that raised you?”
