Martin Cary leads GCI’s business strategy and is responsible for all business initiatives that are delivered over broadband satellite and terrestrial infrastructure. Martin provides the strategic direction for all corporate mergers and acquisitions, and advancing GCI’s infrastructure to optimally deliver business applications.
Before joining GCI, Martin was Senior Partner of Astrolabe Systems, Inc., a technology-management consulting firm acquired by GCI in 1995, where he developed SchoolAccess. Prior to Astrolabe Systems, Martin served as the Director of Information Technology for the North Slope Borough School District for nearly a decade.
The main inspiration for all Pam’s work in education is to advocate for broadband access to underserved rural schools and communities. She has contributed much of her time and expertise to a variety of state and national organizations advocating for broadband equity. A widely respected strategist and visionary in her field, she has earned the trust and respect of education leaders in Alaska and the Lower 48.
Vice President, Business Development Pacific Northwest
Nathan earned his M.S. in Electrical Engineering and is a Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) #4728. He has broad technical interests, and enjoys working with people – both customers and employees. Before joining GCI Nathan was the president and founder of Northpoint Consulting Inc. Nathan and his wife have four children. In his spare time he enjoys photography and playing the violin.
Vice President, Business Product DevelopmentJohn is responsible for product management and development of GCI’s managed services portfolio. John has more than 25 years of professional experience in network management and engineering, technology consultation, educational technology management and product development.
