Hosts Customer Appreciation Events Statewide

ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – On April 13, 2015, GCI welcomed former Alaska Communications wireless subscribers to the GCI family on Alaska’s largest statewide network. To celebrate new customers and honor longtime ones, GCI is hosting 16 events across the state. At each customer appreciation event, GCI will provide high-value special offers, tech giveaways, complimentary refreshments and even temporary tattoos and stickers for kids.

GCI invites all consumers to join in the celebration. At each event, for one day only, the Alaska-based telecommunications provider will have some of its most competitive offers yet for new and current customers on a variety of its most popular devices and premium services, including:
  • 5,000 Alaska Airlines Miles for every new service activated, from new wireless lines to new residential home phone, TV or Internet services
  • iPhone 6 128GB for $30 with Upgrade Now wireless offer
  • Four GCI TV powered by TiVo boxes for the price of one
  • GCI’s Epic Offer, which provides wireless free when a customer signs up for Internet and TV services
All event attendees can also enter to win GCI tech prizes, ranging from smartphones and tablets to Monster devices and GCI gift cards. There will be two outstanding prizes awarded at each customer appreciation event. Both current and new GCI TV customers who choose the G400 TV package will have an additional chance to win big by entering for a trip for four to Las Vegas, provided by GCI and STARZ. The prize package includes roundtrip airfare, two hotel rooms for three nights at Planet Hollywood and a $500 Visa gift card.
