Alaska’s leading telecommunications and entertainment company listens to consumers, provides options to manage monthly broadband bills without contracts
ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – GCI announced today that it is revamping its broadband service with the introduction of new, revolutionary “No Worries” plans, which will provide customers with the capability to control monthly bills and eliminate surprise overage fees.
To further improve customer satisfaction with its service, GCI conducted a series of customer surveys and listening sessions over the past several months. Through this research, GCI found that in addition to the speed options and exceptional value of GCI’s existing plans, customers wanted to have greater control and certainty over their monthly bill.
GCI Senior Vice President and General Manager of Consumer Services Paul Landes noted how the new “No Worries” plans address this customer need: “With these new plans, customers pick a speed and data package combination, and if they need additional data usage customers can chose to add a data bucket. Since customers will make the choice to add a data bucket, there should never be a situation where their monthly bill is a surprise.”
In addition to eliminating billing surprises, GCI continues to provide the best price-value in the state.
Landes continued, “GCI is determined to provide consumers with the best prices in Alaska. For example, our new 50 Mbps plan costs almost $100 less than rates offered by some other companies in Alaska’s largest communities. - Purchase an additional bucket of data for $10
- Upgrade to a plan that offers more data
