Tomberlin brings over a decade of experience developing innovative technology solutions for education in Alaska
ANCHORAGE, Alaska – GCI, Alaska’s largest communications and technology company, announced today that Jason Tomberlin will be promoted to director of GCI Education, within GCI’s Government, Healthcare & Education team, effective Jan. 16, 2018.
In his new role, Tomberlin will be responsible for the GCI Education program, providing strategic management, operational execution, revenue growth, and marketing efforts associated with the education market segment.
Tomberlin’s new role strengthens GCI’s commitment to be a true partner with education customers, knowing their business and providing services, so they can concentrate on their main goal – educating Alaskans.

Tomberlin has been with the GCI Education team for over 10 years, serving in a variety of capacities, ranging from the designing of school networks to the creation of innovative solutions specific to Alaska’s education needs.
