ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – GCI is pleased to announce a grand opening event of its newest store location inside the Alaska Airlines Center at the University of Alaska Anchorage. The celebration will be co-hosted by GCI and the in-arena Varsity Grill and will feature a live radio broadcast from MOViN 105.7 FM on Saturday, Dec. 13, 11 – 1 p.m. At the store, customers will find deals on Monster accessories, a free Samsung Tab 4 for all customers who sign a new contract, and more.

The Alaska Airlines Center, located at 3550 Providence Drive, is a 5,000-seat arena built to host UAA varsity sports and special events. The new GCI store will operate Monday through Saturday, 9 – 5 p.m., and will offer customers a variety of products from wireless phones to premium TV network subscriptions.
The grand opening of the GCI store comes on the heels of two other partnerships between GCI and the University of Alaska Anchorage: GCI is the official technology partner at the Alaska Airlines Center and the title sponsor of the Great Alaska Shootout. These sponsorships provide ongoing support for the University of Alaska Anchorage and its athletics department as well as the infrastructure to ensure that technology in the new state-of-the-art facility is seamless.
