ANCHORAGE, Alaska – GCI announced today it is the recipient of three 2018 Best of Alaska Business Awards for Best Place to Work 250+, Best Corporate Citizen and Best Managed IT Service Provider as voted by Alaska Business magazine readers.
To determine the 2018 Best of Alaska Business Award winners, readers voted in an online survey that ran from February through April on the Alaska Business website. Readers were also invited to vote on the magazine’s Facebook and Twitter pages, in the Alaska Business digital edition and through email.
GCI was voted as the St. Elias-level winner in both Best Place to Work 250+ and Best Corporate Citizen.
“Whether it’s through opportunities for advancement and continuing education or encouraging healthy living and work-life balance, we strive every day to make GCI a great place for our employees to work,” said Paul Landes, senior vice president and general manager, GCI Consumer Services. “And GCI’s commitment to being a good neighbor and supporting our local communities is stronger than ever.”
