GCI contributes $5,000 and tech prizes to 2019 Young Professionals Summit
ANCHORAGE, Alaska – As part of an ongoing effort to support professional development opportunities for young Alaska leaders, GCI is sponsoring the 2019 Young Professionals Summit which will be attended by more than 200 Alaskans this weekend in Anchorage.
“Professional development of Alaska’s next generation of leaders is important for the state’s economic future,” said Kate Slyker, Chief Marketing Officer at GCI. “GCI is committed to nurturing and developing Alaska’s workforce, especially through events like these that allow for learning from phenomenal keynote speakers and professional networking in our local communities. As a fourth generation Alaskan myself, I understand first-hard the importance of fostering our future leaders from the talent that has grown up here in the state.”
This year’s them is Level Up: Learn, Grow, Inspire and the keynote speaker is Richard Montañez, at top executive PepsiCo North America and creator of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.
