The GCI Gives Partnership
GCI's annual giving is an integral part of a commitment to fostering positive change in Alaska’s communities. The annual giving cycle provides nonprofits the opportunity to secure funding and support for their initiatives.
GCI focuses its giving on seven key areas, including cultural arts and innovation, education, healthy communities, youth, animals, diversity and inclusion, and public safety.
Variety of support offered
When applying, nonprofits can specify what type of support they are looking for. Options include cash donations, in-kind service credits, in-kind tech donations, and rental of loaner smartphones, tablets, and hotspot devices.
The application period opens October 1 and closes November 15 each year. Requests must be submitted during this 45-day application period in order to be considered for funding for the following calendar year. Applicants will be notified in January of the funding decisions.
Applicants must be an eligible Alaska-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a current W-9. Please fill out the application request fully, provide a copy of your organization's 501(c)(3) status, a list of sponsorship levels and benefits, and any other relevant information.
