GCI Gives
Annual Application
GCI gives back to the community through direct donations, in-kind services, and products totaling an estimated $2 million per year.

The GCI Gives Partnership

GCI's annual giving is an integral part of a commitment to fostering positive change in Alaska’s communities. The annual giving cycle provides nonprofits the opportunity to secure funding and support for their initiatives.
Focus areas
GCI focuses its giving on seven key areas, including cultural arts and innovation, education, healthy communities, youth, animals, diversity and inclusion, and public safety.
Variety of support offered
When applying, nonprofits can specify what type of support they are looking for. Options include cash donations, in-kind service credits, in-kind tech donations. Please note we no longer offer loaner devices.
Application process and timing
New this year, the GCI Gives philanthropy program will follow an invitation process. Select nonprofits will be invited to submit an application for 2025 funding consideration. Applications will be accepted from Oct. 1 through 5 p.m. AKDT on Nov. 1. Requests must be submitted during this period to be considered for funding for the following calendar year. Applicants will be notified in January of the funding decisions made.
