Understanding Streaming Devices
A streaming device is a piece of hardware that allows you to stream audio and video to your television. These devices act and often look a lot like a cable box, complete with a remote control. They allow you to download apps to their library, which you can then access on your television screen. With Yukon TV, you can also use your phone or tablet as a streaming device by downloading the Yukon TV app directly to that device. You can then watch Yukon TV on that device’s screen. Sometimes, a smart TV can act as a streaming device. Yukon TV is not currently supported on any smart TVs, though some customers with smart TVs that use Android operating systems have reported success in downloading and using the Yukon TV app on these devices.
