Alaskans vote GCI "Best Place to Work" in statewide survey

ANCHORAGE, Alaska—GCI was chosen as the “Best Place to Work—Large Business,” winning the state’s top award in the 2017 Alaska Business Monthly’s Best of Alaska Business survey.

More than 1,500 individuals participated in the second-annual 2017 Best of Alaska Business survey, conducted from Feb. 17 through April 19. The survey polled Alaska Business Monthly readers in 19 different categories. The winners will be recognized in Alaska Business Monthly’s July issue.

To celebrate the “Best of Alaska” businesses, Alaska Business Monthly is also hosting the Best of Alaska Summer Party on Thursday, July 13 from 4 -7 p.m. at 49th State Brewing Company. GCI will be presented with the Denali Award and honored along with the top three winners in each of the contest categories at the event.
