“ANCSA and the Agents of Change” and “Wildlike” debut on Channel 907 this December

ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – Alaskans who want to take a break from the cold weather can tune in to HD Channel 907 this December for the debut of two unique features that were filmed in the Last Frontier.

On Sunday, Dec. 18 at 5 p.m., viewers can follow the historic story of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) and learn how it transformed the state in “ANCSA and the Agents of Change,” available exclusively on GCI’s Channel 907. The two-hour documentary tells the story of those who shaped the ANCSA as well as the leaders who were instrumental to its passage 45 years ago. The documentary was directed and produced by Denali Media Holdings, LLC, in partnership with the Ted Stevens Foundation. The program will also be available on Alaska OnDemand the following day.

On Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 8:30 p.m., Channel 907 will broadcast the debut of “Wildlike.” Filmed in Alaska and featuring backdrops of Denali National Park and Preserve, Juneau, Whittier and the Matanuska Glacier, “Wildlike” follows a teenager’s journey deep into the Alaska wilderness as she discovers her true self and makes her way back home to Seattle.

Channel 907 programming airs statewide in high definition. For more information and broadcast schedules, visit the GCI website.
