GCI brings 200 Megabits-per-second Internet service to customers in Kenai and Soldotna with re:D

Anchorage, Alaska – As of tomorrow, GCI will offer 200 Mbps re:D service to Internet customers in Kenai and Soldotna, making this the fastest broadband service available in the market. The effort is part of the company’s commitment to be the first to provide one-gigabit Internet service in Alaska.

GCI’s re:D service will now be available to subscribers in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, Kenai, Ketchikan, Palmer, Sitka, Soldotna and Wasilla. GCI re:D broadband rates for consumers start at $174.99 per month.
