Feature Instructions

To Set-up Speed Calling List

  1. Lift the receiver and listen for dial tone.
  2. Dial the Speed Calling 8 access code, *74
  3. Dial the Speed Calling 30 access code, *75
  4. Listen for dial tone.
  5. Dial the 1- or 2-digit code to program. (Speed Calling 8 uses 2 through 9. Speed Calling 30 uses 20 through 49.)
  6. Dial the telephone number (including 1 + area code if needed) or the access code to program for that Speed Calling code.
  7. Press the # key. There will be three beeps and dial tone, which confirms that the number has been entered.
  8. Repeat steps 2 through 6 for each number to program on the Speed Calling list. Up to 8 codes can be programmed with Speed Calling 8 and up to 30 codes can be programmed with Speed Calling 30.
  9. When finished entering numbers into the Speed Calling list, hang up the receiver.

To Dial Numbers Using Speed Calling

  1. Lift the receiver and listen for dial tone.
  2. Dial the 1- or 2-digit Speed Calling code for the telephone number access code to call. (Speed Calling 8 uses 2 through 9. Speed Calling 30 uses 20 through 49.)
  3. Press the # key.
  4. The telephone number/access code will be automatically dialed.

To Change Numbers Programmed in Speed Calling List

  1. Lift the receiver and listen for dial tone.
  2. Dial the Speed Calling 8 access code, *74
  3. Dial the Speed Calling 30 access code, *75
  4. Listen for dial tone.
  5. To change a telephone number on the Speed Calling list, dial the 1- or 2-digit code to re-program. (Speed Calling 8 uses 2 through 9. Speed Calling 30 uses 20 through 49.)
  6. Dial the new telephone number (including 1 + area code if needed) or the access code to program in your Speed Calling list.
  7. Press the #key. There will be three beeps, which confirms that the number has been entered.
  8. Repeat steps 2 through 6 for each code to re-program on the list.
  9. When finished updating the Speed Calling list, hang up the receiver.
