How do I file a handset insurance claim?

GCI’s handset insurance is provided by eSecuritel.  A claim can be opened though eSecuritel’s customer care center by calling (866) 249-3781.  eSecuritel’s hours of operation are:

  • Monday: Saturday, 4am – 5pm AST
  • Sunday: 8am – 5pm AST

You will need the following information when talking to eSecuritel:

  • Phone make and model
  • Your address on file with GCI
  • Credit or Debit card to pay deductible
  • Description of damage to handset or loss of handset
