Macintosh Settings
Installation Steps
1. Insert the card into your USB port, a screen similar to the one below should appear
2. Click on the Xtreme Mobility Icon
3. Ensure other applications are closed and click Continue
4. Click Continue
5. To accept the Software License Agreement, click Agree
6. Click Continue
7. Click Install
8. Enter your Username and Password and press OK

9. Click Close
10. Click on Connect
You should now be connected, and be able to perform Internet functions.
1. Click on MAC Harddirve
2. Right Click on the Application (Xtreme Mobility)
3. Move application to the trash
Note: If you have a 3rd party application, such as APP Zapper, follow your normal steps for that application.
Windows XP Settings
Installation Steps
1. Insert Huawei Modem into a USB2.0 port
2. Xtreme Mobility Setup Wizard should automatically appear
3. Click Next
4. Read the License Agreement, when finished, press I Agree
5. To keep the default Destination Folder (GCI Recommended), press Next
6. To keep the default Install Location (GCI Recommended), press Next
7. To keep the default Start Menu Folder (GCI Recommened), press Install
You will see a screen displaying the Install progress
8. You may see indication of the new hardware being installed on your system tray similar to

9. Then press Finish
10. On your desktop you will see an Xtreme Mobility icon.
11. Double Click on the Xtreme Mobility Icon
12. Press Connect
13. You are now connected, you will see data transfer information on the bottom of the menu screen.

Start | Control Panel
2. Double click on the Add or Remove Program (Programs on Vista)
3. Scroll down to and highlight the Xtreme Mobility icon
4. Click on the Remove button
5. The program (application) will uninstall.
Windows Vista Settings
Installation Steps
1. Insert the Huawei device into a USB 20. port.
2. Wait for the auto-screen to appear
3. Click on Run AutoRun.exe
4. Depending on any security software on your computer, you may see a message concerning this change, Allow the change.
5. You will see a Setup Wizard Appear
6. Click Next
7. Click on I Agree to accept the End License Agreement.
8. Click Next
9.Click Install
10. After finishing the install
11. Click Finish
12. You will see a new desktop icon
13. Double click on the Mobile (Partner) icon.
14. Click on Connect
15. If you see a Security Message, click Remember this decision box and then click Allow. This example demonstrates GCI Security Guard.
16. Click where you will be using this computer. This is a Windows Vista Security screen.
17. You may need to click Connect again, but you should be connected at this time.
18. By clicking into the Static’s you can view you connection information, or along the bottom of the Mobile Broadband menu screen.
19. Click the Disconnect button to disconnect.

2. Double click on the Add or Remove Program (Programs on Vista)
3. Scroll down to and highlight the Xtreme Mobility icon
4. Click on the Remove button
5. The program (application) will uninstall.
