What are the ROKU requirements for watching GCI GO?

To date, GCI GO only supports HBO on all models of the ROKU streaming player. However, the majority of HBO’s programming is available in HD. Look for the HD icon that appears at the top of the video player to determine if you’re viewing the highest quality stream available.

 

What are the XBOX 360 requirements for watching GCI GO?

To date, GCI GO only supports HBO on XBOX 360. An XBOX LIVE Gold membership is also required. However, the majority of HBO’s programming is available in HD. Look for the HD icon that appears at the top of the video player to determine if you’re viewing the highest quality stream available.

 

What are the Samsung Smart TV requirements for watching GCI GO?

To date, GCI GO only supports HBO on Samsung 2010, 2011 and 2012 Smart TVs. You can also click here to see if your Samsung model is supported. However, the majority of HBO’s programming is available in HD. Look for the HD icon that appears at the top of the video player to determine if you’re viewing the highest quality stream available.

 

I have a ROKU and am having trouble accessing HBO. Why is this happening?

To get HBO on your ROKU streaming video player, you’ll need to locate and download the HBO GO and/or MAX GO application from your ROKU Channel Store and follow their set-up instructions.

I have a Samsung Smart TV and am having trouble accessing HBO. Why is this happening?

To get HBO on your Samsung Smart TV, you’ll need to locate and download the HBO GO and/or MAX GO application from your Samsung Smart TV’s Smart Hub and follow the set up instructions. If you’re still experiencing problems signing in, please contact Samsung Smart TV.

 

I have an XBOX 360 and am having trouble accessing HBO. Why is this happening?

To get HBO on your XBOX 360, you’ll want to use the following steps:

  1. Download HBO GO and/or MAX GO from the app store or marketplace of your device.
  2. Launch HBO GO and/or MAX GO on your device.
  3. Sign in to your XBOX LIVE account.
  4. Select the Activate Your Device button and the next screen should show you your activation code.
  5. Navigate to www.hbogo.com/activate
  6. Select GCI as your TV provider.
  7. On the Activate a Device screen, enter the code displayed on your television from step 4. Select the Activate button.
  8. You should see a Success! message on both your television and your browser.
  9. You’re ready to start streaming HBO or Cinemax via GCITV2Go.

How do I deactivate GCI GO on an Internet connected TV device, like my ROKU, Samsung Smart TV or XBOX 360?

You don’t have to worry about deactivating GCI GO on any of your Internet connected TV devices. Because it’s a courtesy service, GCI GO is there if you want it, but you’re not required to use it. If you’ve downloaded any of the channel-specific apps, like HBO GO or MAX GO, you’ll simply need to delete them from your ROKU, Samsung Smart TV or XBOX 360 to remove.
