Overview
If you cannot remember your MyGCI password or username, GCI’s MyGCI site has a process for you to update your account with a new password or to to recover your username. For resetting your password, you will need your username and access to the email address associated with the username. If you do not remember your username, or access to the email address, you will need to call GCI for additional support.

Steps for Entering a New Password
1. Navigate to the MyGCI login page.
From the GCI main page (http://www.gci.com) click on the MyGCI link.

There are several different ways to get to the login screen. One of the easiest methods is to click on the Login link on the top right of the screen.

2. After clicking the login link, you will see a screen similar to:

3. Under Password, click on the Click here to reset it link.

4. You will see the Forgot your Password page.

5. Enter your MyGCI Login username. Then press Continue.

6. Clicking on Continue generates an email, which is sent to the email account on record for your username. Displayed is a message informing you to check your email account. If you cannot access that account, you will need to contact GCI for further assistance.
Log into your email account to retreive the email. You should receieve an email from noreply@gci.com

7. When you receive the email, click on the link contained in the email.

8. The link will take you to the Reset your Password Screen.

9. Enter your new password. Then enter the new password again to confirm the password.

Password must be between 6 to 30 characters

Password cannot start with a number
-
Must contain at least one (1) upper case (capital) letter
-
Must contain at least one (1) lower case letter

10. Press Submit.

11. Log into your MyGCI account, with your username and your new password.
Possible Errors associated with Forgotten Password change.
1. Password does not contain correct characters or does not match. Enter vaild password and ensure confirm password matches.

2. Email address associated with more than one username. Please call GCI Technical Support for assistance at 1-800-800-4800.

Steps to Recover your Username

4. You will see the Forgot Your Username? page.

5. Enter your email address (associated with your MyGCI account) and press Continue.

6. If the email address matches our records you will see a success screen, and an email will be sent to that email address containing your username.

7. Logging into the email address you will see an email from noreply@gci.com.

8. Opening the email, you will see your username.

9. If you do not remember your Password, you may perform the forgotten password steps above.
Possible Error Messages
1. Not able to associate a profile with that email address. Please contact GCI at 1-800-800-4800 for further assistance.

2. Email address associated with more than one username. Please call GCI Technical Support for assistance at 1-800-800-4800.
