The Billing Advantage utility software is completely optional. In order to successfully install the utility software, you must have administrative rights on the computer. Furthermore, you must at least be a power user on the computer in order to use the Billing Advantage utility.
Installing the Billing Advantage utility is quick and straight-forward. If you haven’t downloaded the utility yet, download it now. (Windows Vista and 7 users, please call your Commercial Account Administrator at 868-0474 for assistance) Then double-click the file you downloaded (for example, gci_billing_advantage_utility_v2.1.20070806.1.exe) to unzip the setup files onto your computer.
Double-click the file named “setup.exe”. The setup wizard will appear (see Figure 1). Press “Next”.

As part of the installation, you will be asked to accept the end-user license agreement before you are allowed to proceed (see Figure 2). Once you agree to the terms, click “I accept…” and then press “Next”.

Enter a user name and organization (see Figure 3).

Select an installation type (see Figure 4). Most users will select “typical”.

The software is ready to be installed. Press “Next” (see Figure 5).

Once the software has been successfully installed, press “Finish” (see Figure 6, Figure 7).

We recommend that you restart your computer after installing the Billing Advantage utility software.
