GSM handset
If your device has a SIM Card (iPhone is different, please see the iPhone section) and is not functioning properly:
- Power device ON (If no power, check your battery’s charge).
- Remove the back cover.
- Remove the battery.
- Remove the SIM Card completely from the device.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Replace the SIM Card.
- Replace the battery.
- Turn device back ON, and test device.
iPhone
With the iPhone, you can not remove the battery.
- Turn off (power down) the iPhone.
- Turn iPhone back on, and test device, if not corrected;
- Connect the iPhone to your iTune account and resync.
- After resyncing, turn off the iPhone.
- Turn on the iPhone, test device.
CDMA handset
If your device doesn’t have a SIM Card and is not functioning properly:
- Power the device ON (If no power, check your battery’s charge).
- Remove the back cover.
- Remove the battery.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Replace the battery.
- Turn device back ON and test device.
