How does it work?

Once your e-Mail Guard account is activated, all of your in-coming email will go through a special server which filters out the junk mail based on your selected settings and bounces all the addresses off your personal appoved and blocked sender list. You can specify the types fo junk mail you wish to still get and decide at which level you wish them to be filtered at (Lenient-Moderate-Aggressive).

These emails will stay on the e-Mail Guard server, where you can view them for 14 days. After that they will be deleted automatically. And any emails you wish to have delivered to your "real" in-box can be sent there by a simple click from your keyboard.

Any emails with a known virus will also be filtered, although in most cases, you would still be able read the infected email, and have the service "disinfect" it, if you wish to have the email delivered to your "real" in-box.

Because your junk mail is on a different server, other than your "real" in-box, you don't need to worry about it getting too full and having to weed out all the junk mail from the mail you really want!
