Wireless Sweepstakes

OFFICIAL RULES OF PLAY

September 29, 2008 – February 16, 2009

Eligibility

The sweepstakes is open to all Alaska residents, 18 years or older on the date of the contest, except the employees and immediate families (spouses and parents, siblings, and children and their spouses) of GCI, Alaska Airlines, their affiliates or subsidiaries, their advertising agencies, sweepstakes designer, and any other company involved with the design, production, execution, or distribution of sweepstakes materials. For this sweepstakes, an Alaska resident is defined as an individual having either a valid Alaska Drivers License, proof of receipt of either a 2006 or later Alaska Permanent Fund dividend check, or a valid Alaska Voter's Registration Card. No purchase of goods or services is necessary for eligibility.

How to Participate

GCI residential wireless phone customers in Alaska with active accounts (defined as having new activity charges on their bills within the last sixty days) in good standing (without a past due balance in excess of $10) that swap out their Dobson/AT&T SIM card to a GCI SIM card, (or get a brand new number with a GCI SIM card) will be automatically entered into the sweepstakes.

Alaska residents who are not GCI customers, but who are otherwise eligible to participate, may enter by legibly hand-printing their: complete name, address, contact phone number, email address if available, Alaska Airlines Mileage Program number, and the words "GCI Wireless Sweepstakes" on a standard-sized postcard and mailing it to GCI Wireless Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 410, Palmer, AK 99645. Only one postcard per individual will be entered. Mechanically or electronically reproduced entries are invalid. Post card entries will be accepted with postmarks dated through December 31, 2008. Post card entries must be mailed and not hand delivered.

Drawings

There will be several drawings:

• Weekly drawing for two (2) people of 25,000 Alaska Airline Mileage Plan miles each. A random drawing will be held every Monday from Oct. 6, 2008 through Feb. 16, 2009.
• Drawing for one (1) 2008 Pontiac Vibe automobile. A random drawing from all entries from September 29, 2008 through October 31, 2008 will be held the week of November 1, 2008.
• Drawing for one (1) 2008 Arctic Cat 4-wheeler. A random drawing from all entries from September 29, 2008 through Nov. 30, 2008 will be held the week of Dec 1, 2008.
• Drawing for one (1) Entertainment suite of furniture from Bailey's value approx. $3,700. A random drawing from all entries from September 29, 2008 through Nov. 30, 2008 will be held the week of Dec 1, 2008.
• Drawing for one (1) 2008 Pontiac Vibe automobile. A random drawing from all entries from September 29, 2008 through December 31, 2008 will be held the week of January 1, 2009.
• Drawing for one (1) Entertainment suite of furniture from Bailey's value approx. $4300. A random drawing from all entries from September 29, 2008 through Jan. 10, 2009 will be held the week of Jan 12, 2009.
• Drawing for one (1) 2008 Arctic Cat 4-wheeler. A random drawing from all entries from September 29, 2008 through January 31, 2009 will be held the week of February 1, 2009.

Odds of winning the sweepstakes depend upon the number of valid entries received. The drawing will be conducted by judges whose decisions in all matters relating to the sweepstakes are final. GCI reserves the right to change the start date, end date, and duration of the sweepstakes at any time.

Prizes

• Up to forty (40) 25,000-mile prizes will be awarded subject to the terms and conditions of the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan.
• (2) 2008 Pontiac Vibe automobiles
• (2) 2008 Arctic Cat 4-Wheelers
• (2) Suites of Entertainment furniture from Bailey's approx. value $4000 each

The winners will be sent written notification by certified mail return receipt requested or by messenger service within three business days of the drawing. Each winner is limited to one prize for the life of this sweepstakes. Prizes are not transferable.

Prize Claims

The winners will be required to show proof of age and Alaska residency as stated above and sign a written Affidavit of Eligibility, Publicity/Liability Release, and Taxpayer Identification Number. The proof of age and Alaska residency and a signed original of the Affidavit of Eligibility, Publicity/Liability Release, and Taxpayer Identification Number must be provided to GCI within ten business days of receipt of the written notification. Failure to comply may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize.

Transfer of ownership to winner for prizes is in Anchorage, prizes do not include transportation or shipping costs.

Winners List

To obtain a list of the prizewinners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: GCI Wireless Sweepstakes, Attn. Marketing, 5151 Fairbanks St., Anchorage, AK 99508.

Resolution of Disputes

All entrants agree that any dispute concerning eligibility for participation in, or for the prizes awarded in this sweepstakes, must be first submitted in writing to GCI's panel of judges, whose decisions as to all matters related to the sweepstakes shall be final. Should any person never the less commence any litigation pertaining to this sweepstakes, such person agrees that venue for such litigation shall be proper only in the Superior Court of the State of Alaska, Third Judicial District, at Anchorage. Any claims brought must be filed within ninety days of the award of any prize. All entrants agree that GCI's liability to any entrant under this sweepstakes shall not exceed the cost of any (1) prize.

General

By participating, entrants acknowledge and agree to be bound by these rules and acknowledge and agree that the decisions of the judges are final. The winners hereby consent to the use of their names and/or likenesses by GCI for the purposes of advertising without compensation. Any tax liability is solely the responsibility of the winners. Sweepstakes void where prohibited by law. GCI is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, incomplete, illegible, postage due, or misdirected mail entries. Participants agree that GCI is not responsible for any physical injuries, property damage, or other damages incurred by a winner in the course of or as a result of any air travel or vehicles awarded in this sweepstakes. Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable. All entries submitted via mail become the property of GCI and will not be returned. In the event of unavailability of the above stated prizes, GCI reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value. GCI reserves the right to correct errors in media announcement or printed materials in conjunction with this sweepstakes.
