Using your GCI email while traveling internationally
If traveling with a laptop, your GCI.net email will be accessible using only Outlook or Outlook Express anywhere in the world.

If using a public computer or an internet café to access your GCI.net email through web mail, you can log onto www.gci.net.
There are parts of the world that pose a security threat to webmail platforms and are blocked from Internet access. In the event your access is blocked, please call GCI Technical Support 24x7 toll free at 001-800-800-4800 and follow the prompts for technical support to request access.

Using your GCI wireless phone while traveling internationally
• Roaming
GCI International roaming will be available soon in locations in addition to Canada.
• Prepaid Services
You may use your GCI wireless phone by purchasing a prepaid SIM card when traveling abroad. Prepaid SIM cards are readily available in travel and electronic shops in most destination countries. GCI wireless phones are unlocked, allowing the ability to easily transition to Prepaid SIM cards when traveling. *No roaming available internationally with a DigiTel phone.
Using a prepaid SIM card is easy.
1. Simply take the back cover off your phone, take out the battery, and directly underneath you will find a GCI SIM card.
2. Take out the SIM card and store carefully for future use when you return to the US.
3. Replace the GCI SIM card with the prepaid SIM card that you purchased.
4. Put the battery back in the phone, put the back cover on your phone and turn the power on the phone. Within minutes the phone should work on the prepaid network.
• Using your GCI wireless phone while cruising (Maritime)
Now you may use your GCI wireless phone when cruising. Maritime wireless networks are subject to roaming fees, and calls cannot be blocked. GCI voice and data plans do not cover calls made or data used while cruising. |
