MLB Network Added to Lineup
GCI is pleased to announce the addition of the official network of Major League Baseball to its sports lineup in both standard and high definition. The MLB Network airs more than 180 live baseball games a season in addition to hundreds of hours of original programming, highlights, classic games and coverage of baseball events. The MLB Network can be viewed on GCI’s digital variety package on channel 149 in standard definition and in high definition on channel 709.
ROOTS Sports back March 1, 2013
ROOT SPORTS™ and GCI announced the Seattle Mariners will be coming back to GCI TV in time for spring training and the rest of the 2013 MLB season. All ROOT SPORTS events, including the Seattle Mariners; Seattle Seahawks pregame, postgame and coaches’ shows; Portland Timbers, Seattle Sounders FC, and college football and basketball games from the most prominent conferences will be available to GCI TV customers all across Alaska, starting March 1. GCI TV customers can find ROOT SPORTS on channel 36 and in HD on channel 713.
